Vanja The psychedelic escapades of mr. Harlon and his flock of dead crows are a new discovery for me, but one of my favourites in the past few years. Dark exploration of the human state, but with a tint of hope and determination. Favorite track: Absolved Pt. 1.

Floe_Cocker Every second of this album is great. Dark and doomy, yet it never loses it's blues roots - and it all fits together perfectly.
But The Absorbed I & II really drove this one home for me. Goosebumps all over the place!

NunU Knock Knock fuckers who'owz good is this album! Let me tell you it ain't anything like that Björk tripe and is the full fully tops consistent ear joy to your brain and it will love to get caressed by these tunes. The album is fuckn excellent and some other cunt has probably described how describe it with all its differing goings on so i'll leave that to them.
Gets 6 out of go fuck yourself Bjorks from me. Surprises around every corner and smooth as. I can't believe it's not butter. Oh my!

The Tale Of 05:47
I sat alone waiting for death Under my blanket of snow A resting place for my companions Massacred in their approach But heaven don’t speak with a wretch Unlike the books that I’ve read Now I sit by the fire, cursed with my life And images I can’t forget Lo, be my curse History in reverse Selfless hands, fellow cries They will scar me in time And have I heard things in the night? The shadow men in their disguise Well they’re whispering terrible things Struck echoes with medicine eyes And I get lost in circles Tripping over people And who I used to be Comes weeping out of my seams Well I may as well call it my home here I hear the echoes calling I hear the anger in me I walk the tightrope to the edge of The cavern in the trees

We stockpiled for the season Strangling the trees Tied down shelter from the rain And slowly drew a map ahead It stood there in a dream Black door never to be seen Calling my name, awaiting For the paces of my feet Fading eye in the room While the candle is alight Lay me down in the womb’s Inescapable divide And we make it to the sanctum I’m hearing voices in the tunnels I sense some tension in my brothers And I taste the evil on my breath But as we edge on the the centre As we make our move, a vibe sinks in Like a telegram from the stars Those feelings coming over me Those symptoms of the mind They’re warding me away But I belong here inside Fading eye in the room While the candle is alight Lay me down in the womb’s Inescapable divide

As the light creeps in the hall And the dust-mites wait to feed The old black rat designs his palace Nestled in amongst the filth He gathers junk and useless things Never straying from the deadline With Winter’s clutch prolonged And death ‘round the corner The old black rat heals from the poison of disorder I caught a rat and cornered it Yeah he was hiding in shadows of my mind And I felt the cold of Winter on his back And only the sunlight shining down upon his head

Langolier 04:18
Lightning digs the ground, terraforms the earth Waking creature of deliverance Covered face with intricate veneer A firing line that I’m in Just a bite of the apple Overtakes my mind I should swim but I’ll paddle Langolier never far behind Weary on my heals In the path of time Weary on my heals As the tangle winds Death sets out to drink the impotence of man Life spent praying for deliverance Caught up in another web of denial And deaf to the spiders Weary on my heals In the path of time Weary on my heals As the tangle winds

Stray 04:44
Found my way in through a latch on the window Came inside from the pouring rain Man with a woman now she is a widow Freedom’s only a step away I need a release I upset the peace I need to evict I need to feel sick Am I wasting away? I can tell you that I ain’t Lead my own destiny And you’ve been wrangled by another stray I continue to share in my burdens With the people who stand in my way I see them rolling in on the horizon With pistols held in their hands And eyes fixed on the bottom line Am I wasting away? I can tell you that I ain’t Lead my own destiny And you’ve been wrangled by another stray A wolf with the pigs Yeah I suffocate While chained up to a post I’m reprimanded And they’re wrong I’m the one who will burn out the sun

I paint the leaves condition The northern flickers In their positions And I take the earths commanding From where I’m standing I see it all change Like a young hare to a bonfire They only want to heal me So I give in They only want to feel me So I Dive into the wishing well Where my life and death repeat There is a seer in this forest A kind of keeper of the gate Who has been standing there with outstretched arms Awaiting our embrace She has been lonely Beginning to feel unheard But she understands that only a select few choose to listen But I’m just here to paint I cannot bend the fabric of things like you can Well, Maybe I could Just a little further down Yeah Maybe I could If I just keep on heading down Down
10.
I feel violent ideas in my walls And they’re paper thin I’m now acquainted with every side of myself I’ve been trying to reject Now I run from the time tidal wave And I chase the completion I’ve been tied down and burned at the stake Well there’s blood at the foot of my door Where you came in Well I ain’t gonna wait And victimise myself And I ain’t gonna stay Be crucified by someone else A man writes his name in the book My blood on his hands A man writes his name in the book My blood on his hands Never seeing a beginning Ain’t ever giving in A man writes his name in the book My blood on his hands Never seeing a beginning Never, never giving in A man writes his name in the book With my blood on his hands Never seeing a beginning Only ever giving in At the end Of everything

Black Road 05:30
The sun is down inside of me Ain’t no cloud I can see The river’s high as a peregrine It’s felt lower than a creek Well it’s no one’s need to heal my pain When I reflect on where I’ve been The visions dance before I sleep And the night, yeah she strips me of her peace I see shame behind me and another black road ahead To be indiscreet is unlike me I don’t want to believe this is a “personal collapsing” kind of thing Cause as far as I can see I ain’t alone here I don’t want to believe this is a “quit it all and kick back” kind of thing But as far as I can see that’s in the essence of what it is Because the wheels are rollin’ And I’m looking back again I said the wheels are rollin’ And I can’t embrace myself
